Saskatchewan

SASKATCHEWAN POEM

It's winter in Saskatchewan
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At twenty-five below.
Oh, how I love Saskatchewan
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave Saskatchewan
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground!!
yep that just about covers it...
it's been so cold here again...
all weekend was -51c with the windchill!!
Saturday we were planning on going to the city to pick up my drum carder, go see Chad, Christy and Steven, and do some shopping.
All Canceled!!
bummer.
so Glenda at Prairie Lily Knitting is sending out the carder for me... and really if I knew it would of been so much trouble to pick it up I would of got her to send it out when it came in 2 weeks ago.
I've been knitting too since I last posted..
not the hat like I said I was ( I couldn't find a pattern I liked to go with the yarn)
I did spin a bit, and then found out that my younger cousin is going to have a girl in July... so I started a blanket for her.. I have some of the pink and green camo yarn from bernat and started a blanket like I made for Steven... I've used up a ball and a half and will have to dig into a third to finish it... I have 5 balls all together so I can make one more for etsy maybe??
till next time
stay warm.... spring is just around the corner!!
