Lincolns bear

Well I didn't work on Apple today... didn't even look at it .

I have been seeing bobbi bear and baby bobbi popping up all over the net, since I don't have the patience to wait for a pattern to come by snail mail I found a free pattern online

I couldn't for the life of me figure out the top of the head how it was written so I made my own by using a figure 8 cast on. I think if I make it again I'll make the head fatter. it's too skinny, looks like a cat to me. I started him around noonish today and just finished sewing on the "L"

a few mins ago. I also added a few rows to the legs and arms.. and gave him some fat paws.

I think he's quite cute.. and I used the same yarn as Apple so they'll be a pair for little Lincoln.

The sweater is actually a lilac purple, it looks more blue in the pic!??!

Bear is 8 inches tall

and see he's anatomically correct:

I had a call from my cuz Jenn today too.. was phoning to thank me for the sweater for Keagan.

She says it fits, and it so cute on him...

I'm glad, I was a little worried that she wouldn't like it...

Can't wait for a pic with it on him!!

I still have 2 days left in my weekend( I get Monday off too).. so tomorrow is Apple time...

I have to get it done, the baby shower is next weekend.

Wish me luck... it's a boring knit and I don't really want to work on it.
