spinning

I finally got the rest of the roving I was waiting for, the maple syrup on the top, isn't it yummy??
the bottom stuff is the Blue Faced Leicester , so soft, could be confused with alpaca.

here it is spun up... altho I think I should be spinning it thicker, as the pattern has a gauge of 9 sts to 3 inches, if I keep spinning it this thin I'll have to make 4 ply yarn just to get the right weight..... Hmmmm, better figure it out as I don't want to waste any of this!!
