socks for my munchkin

I had started these WAY back in march I believe, they were supposed to be for mom for mothers day, but using smaller needles than called for and me being a tight knitter, they fit Naiomi's feet... she was happy, well having them sitting for months and months with one sock completed and the other needing 2 inches plus the toe decreases, I finally put my mind to it and finished them for her.
I used bernat sock yarn... not to sure of the lot numbers off the top of my head
and 2.5 mmm needles
Old Shale sock pattern

as you can tell she's happy that she'll have socks for winter..lol
and even is going to wear them to school tomorrow

and here's what I have done on my sock so far.. just about up to the ankle on the first sock!

that just rocks... hopefully the second sock will go as fast!

and this is actually a good pic of the colors..

now how could I not buy this yarn??

lol

I'm loving how your Chevron Socks are coming along! Glad to hear you can adapt the pattern for toe-up.
