Hey all...

have the day off and have to hook ALL day long... Naiomi has a b-day party tomorrow and informs me last night that she wants a poncho for her little friend... so hooked on it for 2 hrs last night and actually got 1/2 way done... gotta love the posh poncho pattern!!! ;~) have about 5 rows to do add the fringe and it's done...She also wants a beanie to go with it, so will have to find a cute one to match.

I also have 2 orders from a lady I work with for 2 fun fur scarves for her and her sister... hence the yarn from Aunt Marys Yarn... red and chocolate Lion Brand Fun Fur... I'm using the sz 8 mm needles I made... and I really love them... I think it's the thunk they make when I'm knitting... lol...

I finished DJ's socks the other day, and cast on some socks for myself... I'm using sisu yarn and 2 1/4 mm needles... with the sock yarn and 3 1.4 needles with Dj's socks it was just to loose around the foot and this is working up tighter... I'm also doing a 2X2 ribbing for the ankle part and down the foot too, that will make it nice and snug... with DJ's I did a 1X1 ribbing then the rest in straight knitting....

Yarn Dreams is having a yarn sale too... I have dibbs on the purple blue mystery yarn but you can buy the rest... lol... I know I'm on a diet but Kate sent me the link for the Wavy scarf, and well how can you make a nice scarf with out some nice yarn?? what was I to do??

Mary Maxim is also having a 1/2 price sale on sock yarn....since I LOVE making socks I just might buy some of that too....it's a damn fine deal if you ask me!!

My brother is coming down this weekend so I can finally get the Win 98 cd for my camera and start posting pics again... He's coming down to pick up dad, you see he has to go for surgery on tues morning... he has 2 blockages in his leg and they have to replace the vein... it's about a 3 hr operation, and then 7 to 10 days in the hospital, then should be good as new!!

I joined up for the Mystery Exchange at the Happy Hooker site... I think I have just about all what I need to send it?? I'm partnered with Trish it's been a while since the exchanges were up and running ( before Christmas) so this is so exciting!!!

Kate I have some sock yarn picked out for you, it's some of the handspun and dyed that I won off of eBay and I still have to find some more.... Will take pics of it when my camera is workable ... prob this weekend.. k.... will also send some little "things" for Harley and Rachelle too....

I picked up some more doweling the other day too... it's so nice to make stuff with your own needles... very cool.....

well I'm pretty sure I can't think of anything else...
