Wicker Cafe Cowl

It's Cold... VERY cold out...

we had plans to go to the city so Albert could shop... didn't happen... so I stayed home on the couch and knit.

The pattern is here

I might make another one... I do like it!

and Charlie Brown would be so proud... we made our tree look not to bad this yr.

AND lookie DJ is a knitting fool!!

(blurry pic by me)

first she made a pair of mitts for her friend Allie for her B-day which she gave to her on friday and she LOVED, then she's sitting around today... "I'm bored, I need to knit something"

doesn't that just make a mother proud!!

she's knitting socks... WITH CABLES!!

she's using Hepsi's toe pattern, which I love and use all the time... and When DJ was in Alberta during the summer she found a cable pattern that she remembered so is adding that on the foot.

She's knitting them with Bernat acrylic yarn and 3mm circ, magic looping them baby!!

thats my girl!!

Till next time Happy Holidays!!

Wow - way to go DJ! And I love your cowl/neckwarmer - looks like it is really keeping you warm. It's a balmy 24 degrees here - but it's been snowing and blowing all day long and supposed to last into tomorrow. A white Christmas for sure.

That cowl looks absolutely scrumptious!
And DJ has inspired me all the more to learn how to knit some socks. I've been collecting sock yarn, but I'm too freaked out to try it. She's a trooper! ;)

Hope you guys have a good holiday!
