I've been knitting a 1/2 a repeat on the kauni per night...
(by 1/2 a chart I mean the full heart pattern and 4 straight rows or the full diamond chart and 4 rows)
it's going pretty fast this is what I had this morning:

it's up to (35 cm in the pic)
since then I've reached the armholes put those sts on a holder and started the next bit of the chart... I love it... so much I went shopping for buttons this afternoon. Buttonsgalore on etsy always has great buttons... thats where I got the buttons for my Mr. Greenjeans cardi (raverly link)
these are the buttons I picked out for the kauni.. kinda plain yet pretty too... and the yarn will show thru the open bits.

now I don't know how it happened but they were in my cart when I went to pay!!
does that ever happen to you too???
now I have to knit sweaters to match...lol
so whats a girl to do??
buy more yarn....
I didn't but it did cross my mind ;)
till next time...

Your Kauni looks fantastic! And I love the buttons too! You used a different pattern for the Kauni, others have those squares. I like the heart motives. :o)
It's coming out lovely so far! I love the little hearts. They make me squeal inside a little. Lol! This makes me want to give fair isle a shot but I'm too much of a chicken...so instead I'll stalk around that etsy store because there's some really yummy looking goodness around there! :)
The sweater is coming out beautifully.
Love your button choice.
