every couple yrs or so, a hen or 2 will grow a really long "neck" then produce these pretty little flowers,
the first time I seen them I thought my plant was mutating....lol...
you can see behind this one the second one back there, it has a couple flowers on it too....
but this one is much prettier at the moment.

You know I don't think I have ever seen Hen and chicks bloom... I always thought they were ugly little bunches of green! But they are a pretty bloom! Thank you for sharing that pic!!! I would have never known! LOL though I am not rushing out to get any... yet... have to sort out the yard first!!
