fake out mitts

I'm making these mitts for Naiomi, so I can get measurements of her hand and stuff like that.... but won't she be suprised on Xmas morning when she opens

blue and white mitts and hat to match her brand new snow suit!!
the hat is crocheted with a extra warm layer for the forehead and earflaps, I'll take a better pic after christmas, and the mitts are thrummed only one mitt to go plus thumbs!! yeah!!

and she is a HUGE Sponge Bob fan, and while I was knitting tonight, I was thinking she probally won't even want to wear these bucause we had bought her some Sponge Bob hat and mitts... now boy was that ever dumb?!!?
